Description

Continuum mechanics constitutes a large part of the theoretical foundation within applied mechanics. This course describes the theoretical foundation in a more complete and systematic manner than is possible at the undergraduate level. The course aims at giving the student the ability to independently apply the theories for analysis and modelling of deformable bodies and give the student the attitude and ability needed to evaluate possible applications as well as computational results.
